This represents approximately 22% of our ZAI WhatsApp Group Populations.
56% of our ZAI Members are Accounting Students and Trainees.
44% of our ZAI Members are Qualified Accountants.

Age 35-44: 36%
Majority of members are in the 25-44 Age Range
While the UK and Zimbabwe have a strong presence, there is also a growing presence in other countries. This highlights ZAI's international influence and potential.

ZAI started in August 2022 as a whatsapp group. ZAI is a membership network for Zimbabwean Accountants of various accounting bodies who want to network. ZAI is a community for information sharing, skills exchange, professional networking and a space for doing business. ZAI is run by a Committee and Volunteers. All members share the highest ethical standards. ZAI is a registered limited company in the UK and we have a business bank account. We encourage voluntary subscriptions from members which is only £5 a month and this gives one discounted tickets at events

No. Membership of ZAI is voluntary.
Yes, you can cancel your membership anytime. Any membership fees paid are non-refundable.
Only individuals can be members. Companies cannot be members.
Benefits of joining can range from free access to online events, discounted tickets to networking events, subsidised food and drink at some networking events.
Yes. Online events are free. There may be a small cost to attend in-person events.
You won’t be penalised for not attending an event. We are keen for any places not to go to waste. Therefore, you are allowed to send a representative to attend if you cannot attend! Attending regularly is one of our key tips when it comes to maximising a return on your membership.

ZAI In-Person Events
Our events are informal, yet structured and purposeful. They usually last over the course of two to four hours depending on the programme. Every event will include open and informal networking, a short welcome and introduction from ZAI Committee, food is served, and usually a guest speaker will make a speech.
It all depends with the event. Some are during the day, others are in the evening.
Accountants, aspiring accountants, business leaders, blue chip corporates delegates etc.
We want to inspire, motivate and offer insights to our members. Guest speakers can share their experience and give some takeaways for our members to implement in their lives.
You are welcome to bring a friend, provided they pay for the ticket to the event. Online events are free, you can bring anyone.
ZAI Online Events
We use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Jitsi and other platforms.
